Condition:

Period giltwood and gesso frame. In overall good condition. Evidence of past restoration: painting has been relined; scattered areas of inpainting lower center in foreground and a reverse L-shaped area lower right next to path. A small accretion/abrasion mid-left which fluoresces under UV light. Yellowing and dulling of varnish layer. Layer of surface soiling. Areas of faint craquelure.
